This 7-day Little Ararat & Mount Ararat climbing expedition is a unique program that allows climbers to summit both Little Ararat (3,917 m) and Mount Ararat (5,137 m) in one adventure.
Little Ararat is used as an excellent acclimatization climb before attempting the summit of Mount Ararat, the highest mountain in Türkiye. The expedition combines high-altitude trekking, spectacular volcanic landscapes, and unforgettable summit views.
With professional mountain guides, organized camps, porter and horse support, and full logistical assistance, this expedition offers a safe and well-organized climbing experience in Eastern Türkiye.
Arrival at Ağrı Airport where our team will meet you and transfer you to Doğubayazıt.
After check-in at the hotel you will meet your guide and prepare your equipment for the expedition.
Overnight: Hotel in Doğubayazıt
After breakfast we drive to the starting point at approximately 2,000 meters.
From here we begin the trek to the summit of Little Ararat (3,917 m). The ascent takes approximately 6–7 hours.
After enjoying the summit and taking photos, we descend back to the vehicle point and transfer to Doğubayazıt.
Overnight: Hotel in Doğubayazıt
After breakfast we transfer to Çevirme Village at 2,200 meters, the starting point of the Mount Ararat trek.
From here we hike to Camp 1 at 3,200 meters. Horses carry camping equipment and luggage.
The hike takes approximately 4–5 hours.

Overnight: Camp 1 (3,200 m)
After breakfast we continue trekking from Camp 1 to Camp 2 at 4,200 meters.
The hike takes approximately 3–4 hours. After arriving at Camp 2 we prepare tents and rest before the summit attempt.

Overnight: Camp 2 (4,200 m)
Early in the morning we begin the summit attempt.
The climb to the summit of Mount Ararat (5,137 m) takes approximately 8–9 hours. From the summit climbers enjoy breathtaking views across Türkiye, Iran, and Armenia.
After spending time at the summit we descend back to Camp 2, pack our equipment, and continue down to Camp 1.

Overnight: Camp 1 (3,200 m)
After breakfast we descend from Camp 1 to Çevirme Village (2,200 m).
From there we transfer to Doğubayazıt. In the afternoon we visit Ishak Pasha Palace and enjoy a short city tour.

After breakfast we transfer you from Doğubayazıt to Ağrı Airport for your departure flight.
